Dr. Zhixiang Liu, a national special expert, was selected for the National Talent Program in 2010, and won the first Class-A talents of Shenzhen Peacock Project. He has more than 20 years of experience in venture capital and M&A in the fields of integrated circuits, telecommunications and new materials.Dr. Zhixiang Liu is currently the Executive Chairman of Shenzhen Integrated Circuit Association, Vice Chairman of the New Overseas Chinese Alliance for Innovation & Entrepreneurship of ACFROC (All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese), Chairman of Qingwan Technology, and Vice Chairman of THAA-SMSE (Tsinghua Alumni Association of School of Materials Science and Engineering).

In 1995, Dr. Zhixiang Liu studied in the US for higher education and conducted early research on GaN, a third-generation semiconductor. Besides, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science from Tsinghua University, a Master’s degree in Materials Science and Electrical Engineering from Utah University and an MBA from Webster University. Liu also served as the Vice President of CAST-USA (The Chinese Association for Science and Technology, USA), the Vice Chairman of Science and Technology Innovation Committee of Overseas Chinese Association, and the Honorary President of Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Returnees Association. In 2011, Dr. Zhixiang Liu was selected as one of the “Key Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurial Teams” by the Overseas Chinese Association of China.

In 2010, Dr. Zhixiang Liu received the “China Overseas Chinese Contribution Award”, and was selected as one of the “Key Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurial Teams” by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council.
