prof. Anhui Liang

A leader and expert of the “Overseas Talent Recruitment Plan” of China, Prof. Liang is now the director of the Interdisciplinary Research Center of Fiber Optic Communication and Photobiology at Shandong University of Science and Technology, a national high-level expert and PhD supervisor.

 Having been engaged in frontier research on fiber communication and photobiology in America, Japan, and China for over twenty years, Prof. Liang was once leading R&D directors in famous enterprises in America. He has been a senior researcher of the marine cable research group at AT&T Bell Laboratories, a leading scientist at FiberHome Technologies Group in Wuhan, a leading researcher of WTD (the largest active device R&D firm in China), the vice director of the academic committee of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and a member of the Federation of Chinese Professional Associations in Europe in Jiangsu. Prof. Liang has made considerable contribution to research on fiber communication, vision, traditional Chinese medicine, chromosome, DNA, quantum mechanics, polysomnography, the Alzheimer’s, and the golden section. Prof. Liang is a member of the evaluation team for the National Science and Technology Progress Award, National Specially-appointed Experts, the “Ten-thousand Talents” Plan, the Yangtze River Scholar program, the key research projects of Ministry of Science and Technology of China, the 863 Program, and other projects sponsored by the Ministry of Education and Natural Science Foundation.
